Pain

Pain is the way our body has to draw our attention and inform us that there is a problem. Lack of sensation of pain in some cases, such as neuropathy, is considered pathological. Of course the pain is annoying, it can change our daily activities and affect our quality of life.

The most common diseases that afflict the feet are:

  • Nail diseases (onychosis, onychocytosis, onychomycosis)
  • Skin diseases (hyperkeratosis)
  • Musculoskeletal disorders (flatfoot, abdomen, shin, metatarsal fall, spines, plantar fasciitis)
  • Finger deformities
  • Neuromas (Morton’s neuroma)
  • Athletic injuries

The key to their treatment is based on the correct diagnosis, based on a detailed history of the patient both in relation to the specific problem and in relation to his general health, as well as a thorough clinical examination.
